NACA Chair Lani Wong recently recognized as one of 2010's “25 Most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia” at an award's presentation sponsored by the Georgia Asian Times on July 15th at Nam Phuong Restaurant.

 

Lani Wong, recognized as a liaison between the Chinese government and Georgia government, has been committed to building bridges and improving communication. Her work has promoted business, economic, trade, cultural, and educational exchange between China and Georgia. This year marks the fifth consecutive award for Ms. Wong.  NACA board member Nathan Kongthum, Global Development Officer of Habitat For Humanity International, was also nominated for this award. The following four NACA members were also nominated for this award: Charlice Byrd, Georgia House of Representatives member for District 20; Rengen Li, Supplier Diversity Manager for The Coca-Cola Company; Alex Wan, District 6 Atlanta City Council member; Tricia Sung, National Archives of Atlanta and President of the League of Women Voters of Gwinnett County.
